Position Benefits Supplemental QuestionsWestern Colorado University seeks candidates for the full time position of Regional Director of Recruitment and Promotions for the Denver territory.Duties: The regional director's role is to build Western's student enrollment through both recruitment and marketing efforts. The position exists to execute our new "on the go" recruitment and brand-building/marketing strategies, which requires continuous presence at mutiple levels in the marketplace. This role is a remote position from a home office location based in the Denver area and requires significant travel and activity.Responsibilities include:Conduct prospective student and parent recruitment sessions aimed to market the university and drive enrollment.Represent the university at appropriate recruitment and marketing/brand-building opportunities, including but not limited to conferences, college fairs, community events, expos, festivals and on-campus preview days. Creativity and innovation to go beyond traditional locations and traditional recruitment months required.Utilizing a CRM, third party data sources, and other statistical and analytical tools, to proactively develop, implement, and execute a territory management plan.Maintain up to date contact records and utilize CRM to proactively manage all efforts and optimize activities.Proactively identify, target, prioritize and develop a multi-level recruitment and brand-building pipeline. This will require a balanced level of year-round relationship building with a wide variety of target audiences, including but not limited to high school administration and faculty, alumni, businesses, board members, and various community organizations and leaders.Accountable for filling, developing, and effectively executing a forward-looking calendar of travel activities on a continuous, rolling basis (at least 1-2 months ahead).Meet targeted activity, contact, and meeting/interaction goals.Qualifications: Minimum qualifications include:Excellent written and oral communication and customer service skills.Self-starter with ability to work independently and as a team player.Knowledge of marketing, promotions, brand awareness and sales.Ability to work irregular hours including nights, weekends and holidays, and to travel extensively throughout the state of Colorado as well as out of state.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and spreadsheet software.Experience resolving errors and developing improvements in a computerized database system.Experience initiating and following projects through to completion, paying attention to detail and establishing and achieving goals.Successful experience building positive working relationshipsBachelor's degreeValid US driver's licensePreferred qualifications include:Spoken and written Spanish fluency.Ability to think creatively and skilled at innovation.Experience in higher education, CRM-based processes and territory management.One year of admissions counselor experience or related experience in an institution of higher education.Additional Application Information: Compensation: $40,000 - $45,000 per year full time, excellent shared contribution insurance and retirement plans, paid time off and access to other University benefits.Targeted start date: July 1, 2021To Apply: visit and use our online application.
