Echo Tech Location: Grand Junction, CO Agency: Ambition 24Hours Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 7 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Echo Technologist (Echo Tech) Location: Grand Junction, CO Industry: Healthcare / Health Services Category: Medical / Health Department: Cath Lab / Diagnostic Imaging Schedule: Monday Friday, 4 10-hour shifts with on-call every 3 weeks Employment Type: Full-time Key responsibilities Greet patients, verify identification, confirm exam type, diagnosis, and physician orders prior to procedures. Perform high-quality echocardiographic studies including 2D Doppler, Color Flow Doppler, M-Mode, TEE (with 3D), Definity-enhanced studies, Bubble Studies, and Stress Echocardiography as ordered. Accurately document all procedures in EMR (Meditech) and PACS, ensuring complete and timely records. Clean and disinfect equipment and maintain a safe, organized, and compliant work environment. Restock supplies and ensure exam rooms are prepared and ready for scheduled and add-on studies. Collaborate effectively with physicians, caregivers, and other team members to support coordinated patient care. Provide education to peers, caregivers, or students as appropriate to role and experience level. Participate in limited weekend or after-hours call rotation as scheduled. Required qualifications & skills High school diploma or equivalent; Associate or Bachelor s degree preferred. Active ARDMS or CCI (RCS) registration. Current BLS certification. Working knowledge of echocardiographic imaging techniques, equipment, and cardiac anatomy. Familiarity with Meditech EMR and PACS systems or the ability to learn quickly. Strong attention to detail with a focus on imaging quality, measurement accuracy, and thorough documentation. Excellent communication, patient care, and customer service skills.
