Job Description:
As a National Account Manager at BP, you will play a critical
role in fostering and expanding our relationships with key national
accounts within the energy sector. Situated in our dynamic Sales
and Business Development department, you will be instrumental in
driving BP's market share and revenue through strategic sales
initiatives and customer engagement. This position is tailor-made
for a strategic thinker with a robust understanding of the energy
market and a proven track record in high-level negotiations and
account management. Develop and execute strategic account plans to
achieve sales targets and expand customer base. Build and maintain
strong, long-lasting client relationships with national level
accounts, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. Negotiate
contracts and close agreements to maximize profit while adhering to
legal and company policies. Coordinate with cross-functional teams,
including marketing, project management, and product development,
to meet account performance objectives and customers’ expectations.
Identify emerging market trends and industry shifts while being
fully aware of new products and competition status. Prepare reports
on account status, sales trends, and market landscape to inform
leadership and assist in strategic planning. Strong negotiation and
sales skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple account management projects at a
time while maintaining sharp attention to detail Strong analytical
skills to forecast and identify trends and challenges Familiarity
with CRM software and MS Office Suite Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Sales
Professional (CSP) or similar certification preferred Project
Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
