Job Description:

Serves as the executive assistant to the Aspen Valley Hospital Foundation President. Supports the Foundation in all aspects of fundraising, special events, long-term planning, and stewardship of hospital donors; maintains communication with the Foundation board members and coordination of board meetings; manage and maintain donor database; tracks expenses and facilitates budget management; and manage overall office functions. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS #### 50% I ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES# # # Process all gifts received by Foundation. # # Prepare correspondence as directed by Foundation President. # # Manage multiple calendars and schedule meetings as directed by Foundation President. # # Assist in planning and execution of special events and fundraising activities. # # Process all invoices and track expenses based on annual budget. # II SERVICE EXCELLENCE/CUSTOMER SERVICE # # Demonstrates purposeful service excellence through exceeding patient and co-worker expectations. # # Represents the department/hospital as a dedicated, courteous, and responsive employee and Service Excellence Advisor. # III COMPLIANCE WITH RULES, REGULATIONS AND POLICIES # # Records pertinent documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements, professional standards and hospital policy. # # Adheres to federal, state and hospital rules and regulations concerning HIPAA privacy and security. # # Follows Hospital compliance plan and policies, including the Code of Conduct. # # Participates in required training for compliance related activities (HIPAA, Compliance, Patient Safety, TJC, etc.) # IV UNIT SPECIFIC DUTIES # RESPONSIBILITIES / DAY TO DAY OPERATIONS # # Administer and perform administrative and clerical functions for the Foundation. # # Manage office, maintain office supplies and equipment. # # Serve as primary point of contact for employees, incoming calls and visitors. # # Maintains highest level of confidentiality regarding patients, physicians, co-workers and business-related contacts. # # Drafts correspondence for Foundation President#s approval; types, copies and distributes. # V PROFESSIONALISM # # Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for own professional decision making and professional growth. # # Participates and contributes to departmental meetings and activities. # POPULATION SPECIFIC CRITERIA ### No Rating # Demonstrates the ability to assess and interact with customers of all ages, recognizing language and learning barriers, and technological challenges. # # Able to state his/her duties during a code pink drill. # VII CORE VALUES 50% # Patient Centered:is passionate about patient care, creating positive impressions on a consistent basis and exceeding our patients# expectations.
