Job Description:

Valley View's busy Imaging Center is seeking a full-time, patient-focused Patient Services Specialist with excellent customer service skills to be the first contact for our patients.Previous Customer Service experience in a medical setting highly preferred.

Responsibilities include: providing patients with professional and friendly reception duties; organizing patient flow; keeping Imaging providers and patients on schedule; maintaining patient files and accounts in a professionally accurate manner; and handling phone calls for the department, techs, and providers appropriately.Patient care background and medical scheduling experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Clerical: typing, filing, scheduling, computer, phone
• Exceptional customer service skills required
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
• Receptionist/clerical experience required
• Patient care background and/or medical scheduling experience preferred

  • Starting salary dependent upon education, skill-set, and experience.
  • Position wage range: $19.00 -$27.75/hour
