As a Systems Engineer for Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) , you will: --- Be a member of the CPS Flight Systems architecture team. Creating and documenting the architecture through MBSE --- Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints --- Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications Learn more about CPS This position is in one of the Coolest places to work: Denver, Colorado. Successful candidates typically have 2-4 years of experience and a bachelor's degree. Basic Qualifications: --- Familiarity with Engineering and Systems Engineering development processes and all phases of the development life cycle (to include proposal, design, qualification, requirements verification/validation, production and deployed system support) --- Familiarity with SysML --- Familiarity with MBSE tools and common modeling approaches --- Familiarity with techniques to manage system models --- Familiarity with MBSE execution and analysis tools --- Basic understanding of systems thinking techniques --- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance, therefore U.S. Citizenship is required. Desired Skills: --- Familiarity with all phases of development life cycle for missile and/or launch vehicle programs and supporting production of missile, launch vehicle, spacecraft or aircraft hardware --- Familiarity with configuration control and quality control tools and systems (e.g. EPDM, Q-notes, VRICs) --- Experience with Cameo/MagicDraw/Rhapsody --- Experience with OCSMP System Modeling Certification --- Experience with OOSEM --- Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors --- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members You can learn more about Lockheed Martin's competitive and comprehensive benefits package by visiting this link. Pay Rate: In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $68,700 - $114,500 . This position is incentive plan eligible Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
