Regional Director of Sales and Marketing Position Description and Responsibilities Provide leadership and coordination of Presbyterian Manors of Mid-America (PMMA) sales and marketing functions in assigned PMMA communities along all care levels. Assist with the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies in conjunction with community Director of Marketing. Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against census goals. Work with community and regional leadership in operations and clinical to maximize census. This position requires travel to assigned senior living communities. Additional Information: PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Direct and coordinate multi-site PMMA sales and marketing functions. Develop and coordinate sales and marketing strategies and objectives in conjunction with assigned communities. Assist field marketing directors in monitoring progress in census and budget management for assigned communities' marketing & communications plans, including digital and social media tactics/campaigns, and outreach programs. Assist in the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials. Evaluates effectiveness and cost benefit of marketing tactics. Makes recommendations to alter strategies to position field marketing & sales directors for growth and success. Participates in weekly corporate marketing and sales team meetings, reporting regularly on referral development and progress on census targets. Reviews census management practice guidelines, analyzes trends, and takes action to avert deterioration of market share. Works with local community professional referrals sources to generate a positive image and encourage word-of-mouth referrals. Assists with external marketing of PMMA within the greater community through health providers and organizations. Assists in the planning, oversight and execution of community based promotional events, open houses, and educational seminars/Just Ask events. Analyzes and monitors industry trends. Determine appropriate payor mix objectives with operations and clinical regionals to ensure community profitability and monitor accordingly. Attend community support team (CST) reviews, consisting of regional directors from all disciplines, of assigned PMMA communities. Leads regional team training session with focus on sales and marketing. Be the PMMA marketing point person for working with the rehabilitation vendor supporting PMMA's PATH (Post Acute to Home) program, in order to develop needed reports for PATH marketing/branding and success. Represent the company at various community and professional or business meetings to promote PMMA. Serve on committees as assigned with continued emphasis on senior living focus initiatives or similar company committees. Monitor and assist with key messages to raise brand awareness and articulate brand position. Ensure compliance with all branding standards at the corporate and community levels. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in business, marketing or communications. Advanced degree preferred. 4+ years of progressive sales and marketing leadership and experience in senior living industry, with preference of sales in long-term care, rehabilitation, memory care, assisted living and/or hospice. Experience in developing and executing marketing and communication strategies at a corporate level or management of multi-site responsibility producing measurable results. Knowledge, Skills and Attributes Excellent knowledge of marketing, sales and branding principles and practices. Proven experience driving occupancy in senior housing or long term care in a multi-site organization. Leadership, coaching and communications skills. Knowledge of strategic planning and analysis, market analysis, and managed care market dynamics and analysis. Exceptional problem-solving and time management skills. Ability to travel to assigned markets/communities. Ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements and demands. Experience with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
