Corps/Department: Grand Junction Stores
Reports to: Clifton Store Mgr, Director of Retail and/or Corps
FLSA Status: Hourly/Part time (28 hrs/wk) non-exempt
This is a part time (28 hours per week), non-exempt, regular,
position that pays $12.32 per hour with vacation and sick time.
Scope of Position: The Baler/Receiving clerk is directly
responsible for baling of "rag-out" collected from all local
Salvation Army stores and monitors receiving, ensuring correct and
safe intake of donations. The Baler/Receiving clerk also assists
with electronics and works as a member of the production team when
all other assigned duties are finished or as directed by Store
Essential Functions: Oversees baling operations and bale truck
preparation & loading.
+ Responsible for receiving donations at the door and monitoring

Education and Work Experience: Must have a high school diploma
or equivalent. Must have excellent written and verbal communication
skills. Must have a current valid Colorado driver's license. Must
be able to successfully complete a background check including clean
driving record. Bilingual a plus.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: Must be a team player,
be organized and energetic. Must be able to complete forklift
training. Must have a working knowledge of or willingness to learn
to operate baling machine safely and efficiently. Ability to make
quotas and deadlines.
Software-related skills: Must be able to complete online
Driver's Safety and Child Safety trainings as assigned.
Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat,
climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
Ability to grasp, push, pull, and reach overhead. Ability to
operate telephone. Ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally and
50 lbs regularly. Ability to understand written information.
