Full Time/Part Time Status:
Manage the functions of the Education service area in accordance
with the Head Start Program Performance Standards, Program Policies
and Procedures, Department of Children and Family Services
Licensing Standards, and standards and practices for
developmentally appropriate instruction.
In collaboration with child development staff, enter, track, and
monitor child outcomes for school readiness.
Support high quality teacher-child interactions through the
implementation and monitoring of formal classroom observations
Monitor materials and equipment needs to ensure safe, compliant,
and quality Head Start programming.
Actively participate in the continuous planning process by
overseeing the completion of the annual community assessment and
contributing to the planning and execution of the annual
Coordinate communication and cooperation between Head Start,
public school staff, and community programs to foster completion of
designated transition activities.
Compile data for and submit multiple required reports including
the Program Information Report and monthly monitoring reports.
