KCA is a new charter school in Towaoc, Colorado, opening in August 2021 with grades K-1 and 30 students and expanding to grade 5 and 90 students over the next few years. KCA is seeking a Head of School for a full-time position, starting July 1, 2021. Position open until filled. Qualifications:

• Master of Arts or Bachelor of Arts in Education or related degree
• At least 5 years of elementary school teaching and/or administrative experience
• Commitment to indigenous culture and language teaching and learning
• Excellent written and oral communication and organizational skills
• Fosters collaboration and shared leadership among staff, students, community members and the Board of Directors to advance the mission and vision of the school

The school is authorized by the Charter School Institute of Colorado as the first public charter school in the state on an Indian Reservation. The school will begin the first year of operations in August 2021 with the goal to enroll 30 students in grades K-1, then grow each year, adding approximately 15 students each year, until the school has 90 students in grades K-5.
