Job Description:

This is a half-time position (24-30 hours per week) with full benefits.# The Human Resources Coordinator will assist the HR Team with administrative and operations tasks such as auditing, special projects as assigned, assists employees and HR customers with questions or issues and/or directs to appropriate HR staff while maintaining confidentiality, security, and professionalism at all times. # Primary Scope of Responsibilities: ## Receives HR visitors and answers employee questions as appropriate or directs to appropriate HR staff member Coordinates AVH Transportation Program:# Actively participates in TOPS program, makes recommendations, and develops solutions for alternative transportation program as appropriate. Coordinates We-Cycle program and annual kick-off event each spring. Primary contact for distribution of bus passes # including seasonal and slide passes; reconciles cash/passes on a weekly basis; orders new passes as needed Coordinates annual Ski Pass voucher process Orders and maintains office supplies Assists with Volunteer Program as needed for special events and projects. Assists in reconciliation/auditing/monthly billing of benefits program Creates and processes purchase requisitions as needed Assists HR Team members in special projects and special events, as requested by CHRO Distribution of department mail Minute taking for staff meetings as needed Assist CHRO with scheduling/time management Participates and contributes to departmental meetings and activities Provides back up coverage for Administration Executive Assistant Demonstrates responsibility and accountability for own professional decision making and professional growth. Demonstrates purposeful service excellence:# (1) smile; (2) introduce yourself; (3) make eye contact; (4) ask what you can do to help; (5) explain what you are doing and why; and (6) always exceed expectations. Represents the department/hospital as a dedicated, courteous, and responsive employee Adheres to all security, confidentiality, and privacy policies Takes initiative to stay informed of and contribute to (as appropriate) current hospital-wide and departmental patient safety and quality initiatives.# Identifies and promotes new learning around changing safety standards of practice. # Population Specific Criteria: Demonstrates the ability to assess and interact with customers of all ages, recognizing language and learning barriers, and technology challenges. Able to state his/her duties during a code pink drill. # Minimum Qualifications: 2-3 years of Administrative experience preferred.# Human Resources experience a plus. Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations Ability to concentrate and show attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills required Ability to work independently Ability to read and communicate effectively in English Bi-Lingual in Spanish preferred # Education/Certification Requirements: HR or business related degree preferred # Working Conditions: Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust and temperature.
