As a Wire Rope Shop Help, you will be part of the production team supporting various operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, a self-motivated attitude, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully with the organization. Job Title: Wire Rope Shop Help Location: Grand Junction, CO Pay Range: $20.00 per hour What's the Job? - Fabricate wire rope and chain slings, along with related assemblies. - Calculate material cut lengths, determine fitting requirements, and select appropriate equipment to produce various lifting assemblies. - Review, interpret, and understand work orders to fabricate lifting assemblies according to training guidelines. - Count, record, and report inventory as required. - Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety guidelines. What's Needed? - Ability to lift a minimum of 70 lbs. - Strong reading and writing skills. - Good analytical, conceptual, and planning skills. - Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math operations. - Self-motivated and hard-working with teamwork experience preferred.
