Office Manager is a cornerstone leadership role at Sorrel River
Ranch, responsible for shaping the guest journey from first
impression to final farewell. This position is accountable all
front office operations while acting as a cultural ambassador for
the Sorrel experience — balancing elevated service, genuine warmth,
and operational excellence. In addition to guest experience
leadership, this role plays a critical part in revenue management
execution, ensuring rate integrity, market code accuracy, and
alignment between Front Office operations, Sales, Marketing, and
Ownership. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience & Sorrel Standards
? Lead the Front Desk and Guest Services teams in delivering warm,
intuitive, and highly personalized service ? Serve as a visible
presence in the lobby, greeting guests, engaging in conversation,
and setting the tone for the Sorrel experience ? Ensure arrivals
and departures feel effortless, thoughtful, and memorable ?
Champion storytelling, sense of place, and emotional connection to
the ranch ? Anticipate guest needs and proactively resolve concerns
with empathy and ownership ? Oversee VIP, repeat guest, and special
occasion recognition ? Partner closely with Housekeeping and
Maintenance to ensure room readiness and seamless communication
Front Office Operations ? Oversee all daily front office functions
including check-in, check-out, room assignments, and guest
communications ? Maintain and evolve front office SOPs, training
materials, and service standards ? Ensure accuracy in cash
handling, billing, folios, and audit processes ? Monitor
arrival/departure flow to ensure staffing and service levels match
demand ? Serve as Manager on Duty as scheduled ? Lead daily
briefings and cross-department communication ? Ensure guest
feedback- reviews, in person and online platforms are responded to.
? Ensure Revinate is used appropriately and guest communication are
current and on brand Sorrel Pack Leadership & Culture ? Recruit,
train, coach, and mentor front office team members ? Build a strong
Pack culture rooted in accountability, respect, and pride of place
? Lead by example — hands-on, solution-oriented, and guest-first ?
Conduct performance evaluations and ongoing development
conversations ? Create schedules that balance labor efficiency with
guest experience excellence Revenue Management & Rate Integrity ?
Manage and maintain market codes, rate plans, and booking codes
within the PMS ? Execute rate updates, restrictions, and inventory
changes as directed by ownership or General Manager ? Audit
reservations regularly for correct market segmentation and rate
application ? Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to ensure group
blocks, packages, and promotions are yielding correctly ? Monitor
daily occupancy, ADR, and pickup trends and communicate insights to
leadership via the daily scoop Systems, Reporting & Collaboration ?
Maintain PMS integrity, guest profiles, and preference tracking ?
Prepare and review front office and revenue-related reports ?
Partner with Accounting and Night Audit to ensure revenue accuracy
and reconciliation ? Support ownership and leadership with insights
tied to performance and guest behavior Safety, Compliance & Brand
Alignment ? Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and
emergency procedures ? Uphold Sorrel River Ranch standards,
ownership expectations, and brand guidelines ? Protect the
integrity of the guest experience, the Pack, and the property
Qualifications ? 3–5 years of Front Office or Rooms leadership
experience in a luxury resort, destination, or lifestyle property ?
Experience in experiential or nature-driven hospitality strongly
preferred ? Proficiency with PMS systems (Opera or similar) ?
Working knowledge of revenue management fundamentals, market
segmentation, and rate structures ? Strong leadership presence with
a service-forward mindset ? Exceptional communication,
organization, and problem-solving skills ? A genuine passion for
