Job Description:
Intermountain Healthcare, a respected not-for-profit health
system based in Utah, is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist for
Acute Care to join our healthcare team. This role is pivotal for
providing expert rehabilitative care to patients in acute settings,
aiding in their recovery with innovative methods guided by the
latest research. You will collaborate closely with a
multidisciplinary team to implement tailored treatment plans that
maximize patient mobility and overall well-being. Assess patient
condition by examining muscle strength, joint mobility, and
functional capacities. Design and implement physiotherapeutic
interventions for acute patients. Collaborate with healthcare
professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans. Document
patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary. Educate
patients and their families on treatments and expectations for
recovery. Maintain patient confidence and protect operations by
keeping information confidential. Strong understanding of
physiotherapy modalities and techniques. Excellent patient
management skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with other
healthcare professionals. High-level communication and empathy.
Knowledge of regulatory healthcare standards. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current state
license as a Registered Physical Therapist. CPR certified. A
professional membership in a recognized physical therapy
association is preferred.
