Pharmacist Location: Moab, UT Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,095 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 10 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Staff Pharmacist - Retail/Community Profession: Pharmacy Specialty: Pharmacist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Evening/Weekend/Holidays Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum three years in a retail pharmacy setting preferred License: Current, full, and unrestricted license to practice pharmacy in the State of Utah Certifications: APhA Immunization Certification preferred Must-Have: - Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy - Licensure to dispense controlled substances in the State of Utah - Excellent communication, human relation, and computer skills - Self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team - Knowledge of or willingness to learn about financial aspects of departmental functioning Description: Join our team as a Staff Pharmacist. This position is full-time in a new retail pharmacy. We seek detail-oriented, experienced retail pharmacists. You will perform day-to-day pharmacy operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulatory requirements. You will manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and implement strategies to minimize waste. Collaboration with suppliers and wholesalers to order medications and maintain accurate transaction records is required. You will accurately interpret and dispense prescription medications in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Conduct regular medication reviews, including drug-drug interaction checks, and maintain accurate patient records. Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information according to privacy laws. Administer immunizations under defined protocols and offer personalized consultations to patients and their families. You will address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to prescriptions and medication concerns. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through comprehensive medication therapy management. Provide exceptional customer service and foster a positive pharmacy atmosphere. Supervise and train pharmacy technicians and students when applicable. Stay up-to-date on licensure and educational requirements. You may participate in community outreach events and build relationships with healthcare providers to promote pharmacy services.
