Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Tech Specialty: CT Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years License: ARRT Certifications: Radiation badges supplied by the vendor Must-Have: Associate's Degree Description: Performs general CAT scans of the chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, fluoroscopy, and pediatric exams. Completes post-processing in a timely manner. Performs CT angiograms with post-processing. Performs scans of trauma patients in a timely and efficient manner. Demonstrates expertise in minimizing radiation exposure to patients, self, and auxiliary staff. Maintains high quality and image production in scanning. Demonstrates leadership related to the coordination of providing radiology care across all settings. Demonstrates reliability and effective communication skills. Utilizes problem-solving skills, independent judgment, and decision-making skills. Provides input to the department planning process improvement. Participates in departmental and modality meetings. Assists in the orientation and training of new associates and students.
