Description Location:UCHealth Memorial Hospital North, US:CO:Colorado Springs Department:Operating Room - Will also float to Grandview Hospital FTE:Full Time, 0.9, 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift:Days Pay:$44.00 per hour plus travel package/stipend LOCAL Traveler contract options available for those who reside within 75 miles 13 week assignments available - extension options Minimum Requirements: - Graduated from Surgical Technologist program - State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration - 1-year experience - BLS - BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date. Assists with preparing, transporting, positioning and draping patients. - Passes instruments to physician during surgery. Continually accounts for number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery. - Receives and processes specimens for delivery to the laboratory. - Within scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action Perioperative: - Direct care includes practice Perioperative, PACU (Post Anesthesia Care Unit) or Operating Room levels of care - AORN and ABPANC core curriculum and certifications standards are included in evidence-based care models We improve lives.
