Specialty: RN-Labor and Delivery -TravelShift: Nights, 3x12sDuration: 13 weeksJob Description RN's needed for L&D, Post Partum rooms, BFHI, babies room in with moms, average 40 deliveries per month, average 6 C-sections per month. May have to cover as charge nurse, after charge nurse training, on occasion Responsible for assisting, supporting and educating women during the four stages of delivery: antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum and neonatal. Sits with and monitors patient throughout (before/during/after) the labor Monitors contractions and helps patient with breathing techniques Monitoring the fetal heart rate and mother's vital signs.
