-- We are looking for a full-time Global leader to create and
execute Garmin's Information Security programs including
global alignment to the strategies, policies, and practices of the
program. Other essential functions include:
- Accountable for effective establishment and pragmatic execution
of Garmin's Cyber Security strategies.
- Ensures global alignment to Garmin's Cyber Security strategies,
policies and practices across all geographic--locations and
- Builds and fosters strong business relationships with partners
across Garmin's global footprint.
- Monitors compliance to Garmin's Cyber Security polices /
processes, assesses associated risk and aligns closely--with
partners across the business on relevant remediation plans.
- Directs Garmin's Cyber Awareness campaigns to educate
associates on Garmin's Cyber Security program and their--relevant
accountabilities to Garmin's Cyber Security policies and
- Directs Garmin's Incident Response program.--
- Directs Cyber Security investigations, by working closely with
partners from across Garmin's business and with--relevant
authorities. Qualified candidates possess a Bachelor of Science in
Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology,
or--Management Information Systems or another substantially similar
field. Other requirements include:--
- Minimum of 10 years work experience in an Information
Technology role, with substantial experience in
- Demonstrated expertise managing Cyber Security resources,
technologies, and suppliers.
- Minimum of 5 years successfully leading people and teams.
- Demonstrated experience successfully developing and
implementing Cyber Security practices, policies, and--procedures
spanning IT and the business.
- Demonstrated experience successfully coordinating teams and
multiple projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of Garmin's products.
- CISSP Certification
- Certification(s) specializing in Security disciplines, such as:
CISSP, GSEC, CISA, CISM
- Knowledge of infrastructure, application, development and data
security - which may also include certifications--in technical
disciplines, such as: MCSA, MCSE, CCNA, CCNP
- Knowledge and experience of information security technologies
and vendors (firewalls, intrusion prevention,--vulnerability
assessment/management, web and application development, security
- Experience with creating or auditing Cyber Security
- Experience in developing, designing, or managing Global teams.
